McKenzie, what's next for China?
In another seminar today, and it was actually a really interesting one. I learned a few things. Many people know this, China is the second-largest economy in the world and has the second-largest equity in bond markets as well. I did not know that. They have the largest middle class in the world and growing. The average Canadian investor portfolio allocated to Chinese equities is.3%, I thought that number was way higher. China shows a stable risk assessment, and Chinese government bonds offer the highest yields among "A" plus rating issuers. A lot of good news is coming out of China. I did not know that there was such little investment from Canada into it, so I'm going to look into how I can put this into clients' portfolios. Of course, view the small print.
